Romanticism can be black.

They have that cartoon of Langston Hughes, a jazz writer I think, and he looks "white" racially.  Anyway, I see his skinny hands at the typewriter.  He is romanticized as being supportive of the "heart" of New Orleans, as black people provide for others.
